I was once "purchased" as a slave boy at an online BBS auction. (just credit points, no real money raised for some obscure charity) I was impressed with the bidding process, the winners paid a high sum of credit points for me. My biggest fear was having to possibly give them what they paid for. Thank god they never asked me to fork it over.
